CMi2i shareholder analysis now accessible through Bloomberg

Development makes more detailed shareholder information available

CMi2i’s shareholder identification analysis can now be accessed through Bloomberg’s investor relations functionality within the Bloomberg Terminal.

The collaboration between Bloomberg and CMi2i combines public shareholder information collected by Bloomberg with CMi2i’s bespoke collection and analysis of non-public shareholder data.

CMi2i’s team of analysts use a methodology developed over 20 years to enable them to identify the underlying shareholder structure – encompassing beneficial holders, investment decision-makers and vote mandate holders. By joining forces with CMi2i, Bloomberg will provide access to shareholders’ other holdings, portfolio information, news and market intelligence.

‘This collaboration will enable us to offer access to our bespoke analysis and research directly through Bloomberg’s market-leading terminal, to the considerable benefit of our mutual clients,’ says Mark Simms, CEO of CMi2i, in a statement.

Robert Friend, global head of sell-side solutions and research at Bloomberg, adds in the statement: ‘In combination with the market intelligence and ability to connect with local and international capital market participants offered by Bloomberg, CMi2i’s services allow us to provide a comprehensive IR offering.’
