Banco Santander, LVMH, Nestlé and Stellantis are among the dozens of major household brands nominated for the prestigious IR Magazine Awards – Europe 2022.

Other notable names nominated for excellence include AstraZeneca, Carlsberg, Deutsche Bank, HUGO BOSS, Iberdrola, Meliá Hotels International, Mercedes-Benz, J Sainsbury, Shell, Siemens, TAV Airports Holding and Tesco.
Companies from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK are represented. Find out who is in the running here.
IR professionals will be hoping to take home prizes in 31 categories, from best overall investor relations (in three cap sizes) and best in sector to best annual report (in three cap sizes) and rising star.
As is tradition, IR Magazine will present two types of award categories: researched and nominated. Researched categories are decided by a survey of buy-side and sell-side analysts and portfolio managers, while nominated categories are decided by a panel of judges. This year, the panel of judges consists of:
– Mike Allen, head of research at Zeus Capital
– James Beech, editor-in-chief at IR Magazine
– Heinrich Ey, director and co-CIO for German and European mid/small caps at Allianz Global Investors
– Simon Gleadhill, corporate reporting & IFRS technical controller at Howden Joinery Group
– Madeleine Szeluch, investor relations ESG director at Novartis
– Gervais Williams, head of equities at Premier Miton Investors.
The winners of each category will be announced at the glittering gala awards ceremony at the historic 8 Northumberland Avenue, London on June 23. Book your place here.
More than 250 professionals from the IR community across the continent will celebrate together safely under one roof for the first time since 2019. IR Magazine has already hosted its popular US Awards and Canada Awards events this year, with IROs buzzing to be back in person once again.
Earlier on the day of the Europe Awards ceremony, the IR Magazine Think Tank – Europe will be held in person at the Bank of America offices in London. The invitation-only event is free to attend and exclusively for senior IR practitioners. Participants will be able to thrash out the issues affecting the IR community, share ideas and best practices and network extensively.
